Are there any restrictions to hosting existing maps on a server, such as Multeasymap? I always value walking by the rules.

I think you are the first person to ever ask. From DDNet's perspective you can host our maps, just don't pretend to be an official DDNet server. From the mapper's perspective you can host the map, but don't pretend you made the map, so always keep the existing credits on it. This seems to be the (previously unwritten) way that things work around here.

It's a pleasure to talk to you; Thanks for the clarification. The local server (Brazil) has suffered numerous DDOS attacks, unfortunately, the common sense of some has gone down the drain. I hope to effectively combat DDOS on my future server and provide lag-free entertainment, clearly respecting all the rules mentioned above.
