Hi, My in game name is Mariac. I am 23 years old and lives in South Africa. My main language is Afrikaans, but I am fluent in English as well.
I am a very active player, I am mostly on in the evenings after work and on weekends even past midnight! I played Teeworlds since 2010, and played ddnet since day one-ish, or was it day 3? But was definitely from the start. I was never banned in game or on the forums. I do have Discord, and I am always on. I don't have past experience of being a moderator.
Many times it happened when a few players stand together and voted one player to be kicked for the fun, and it even happened to me as well, so I want to create a better place for players and not to be bullied off a server.

imho i dont think we need any helpers/mods cause we all know each other and last time i saw a vote kick was with sp someone messing about
otherwise i think we have an understanding of each other

Actually, while you were away, on some of the servers, some players did this, one player was botting on a ctf map, other players called out to the player, but the player and their friends vote kicked them off, even I tried and I was also vote kicked off. I have come across many encounters where a helper/mod would've made it better. Plus there are a lot of new players, and they don't always fit in, either players hate on them, or they think they own the servers. As you said, our moderator is never online, so when the cat is away the mice can play type of thing. Plus to fun vote kick someone, is also not a thing that should occur. Also we all know each other (some what), but there are countless hate relationships going on.

vanilla mods separate from ddrace mods

Z-catch, ctf and fng is all on the ddnet servers, are they not?

mods as in moderators. zcatch, fng, vanilla and ddrace all have seperate rcon passwords

Ohhhhhh, good to know then. As stompie mentioned, our mod is never online to sort out these problems, usually what happens is both parties get so mad at each other that both quit the game, and SA already don't have that many players.

Maybe you should make clear where you want to be Moderator. In what modification?

I'm mostly on ddnet race servers, don't play the other quite that often. So I would like to help those.

If anyone is ever botting on a vanilla server, ping @vanilla or @non-ddr moderator and either me or one of the others will come to help. However, even though ddnet vanilla, ictf, and fng servers are owned by ddnet, they are seperate from the ddrace servers in terms of moderators.
