Re: Botting
ive talked to that guys siO a while ago since ive caught him teetower botting on kog
just like in this case she coded his bot on his own and doesnt abuse it for finishing
imo its alright to troll around a bit as long as you dont make ranks using it or blocking other players
addition:
you cant just set their points to 0 now, what you can do is make it public that from now on the punishment for botting is loosing all points, but its really not fair to make new laws for botting punishenment right now and use them on these players thats comparible to kicking someone who is already down

Re: Are these ban's going to be permanent??? If so here are my thoughts
No one said these were permanent bans. You say you understand that there must be punishment and criticize our way of punishing them, yet you provide no alternative of your own.Im 'corneum wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 5:29 am so i just happened to read the ddnet story forum post from deen from 2015. in which he proudly told that nobody has a life ban and that its good. and after years of sp someone vali and many other real trolls you choose to lifeban some botters. i understand that there must be punishment. but lifebans and its "just the first round"?! way togo ddnet! bravo
Besides, comparing DDNet with DDMax in this instance is really unfair. Tsin did as he pleased and banned people for selfish reasons. We took a couple weeks to find an appropriate punishment for people who broke one of the very few rules we have.

Re: Botting
There should be no exeptions. Botting is not allowed on ddnet serversmeew' wrote: ↑Wed Mar 14, 2018 7:18 pm ive talked to that guys siO a while ago since ive caught him teetower botting on kog

Re: Botting
Every bot and cheat-tool implemented by the DDNet-staff is considered as no bot.

Re: Botting
And likewise every feature that has been implemented in Teeworlds, for example synchronized direction for weapon and hook aiming are not considered a cheat. Or moving in one direction without having to press a button 5 times per second is not considered a cheat.hi_leute_gll wrote: ↑Fri Mar 16, 2018 12:19 pm Every bot and cheat-tool implemented by the DDNet-staff is considered as no bot.

No, I mean that every game will define a set of allowed actions by including them in the client.
