That moment when a old mapper comes back and he & fans of him thinks it get released just because heβ€˜s one of the old school.

We got (bad) critism now from a experienced mapper, the best designer on ddnet and one of the best testers. Should be enough reasons to just change/delete the parts.


Btw your lost story design doesn't make the map better - no offenseand if you look right on adre 4+5 there are only good and new parts .. without any new feature of ddnet

Silex, you made some great maps and your parts are almost always original.
However, please keep your feet on the ground because the cringe level of your replies are through the roof.

Thanks CuBe, but i know you don't like me because im not in eagle anymore so i can't take you serious.

Btw it's offtopic what you just wrote, maybe you could say something about the map (my post is also offtopic i know but i want to answer).

And just saying, i wouldn't flame that much in my second post in this topic if Delo would accept my critism and just try to change the parts. Instead he tried to make me and my maps bad.

Actually I have no personal issues with you. Sorry for staying off topic but I think it's pretty important my point comes across how I intended it. I tried to give you a taste of your own medicine, that might have been a bit childish of me. ;)

I think you should read your posts again and look at how they are written (e.g. your first post). Your tone is very patronizing and unfriendly. If you are going to give feedback to someone's work you should change your tone so that people will accept your feedback more easily.

Then don't map "oldschool style", as far as I know that just means boring parts, poor mapping and ugly designs. Just get on with the time, there's plenty of room to get creative. :)

The point is that if you release maps like Stronghold then you can't argue here that the map is too much of the same. So either raise the standards for all maps or stick to your current one...

PS: The parts here are even better than on Stronghold, lel.
