Exactly what I wrote.RayB. wrote:Not really, I remember that deen or who ever wrote that It is only for cases where It makes sense.hi_leute_gll wrote:It's well known these 0 stars are made for extremely short and "fun" maps...
I am totally aware that you testers nowadays aren't able to rate maps fairly anymore. Some ratings are even missed by 3 stars.RayB. wrote: In this cases the map is stupid easy and less worth than 10 points, seems to to be a valid reason to me.
Nowadays ? This topic is 3 years old and always active.hi_leute_gll wrote: I am totally aware that you testers nowadays aren't able to rate maps fairly anymore.
Somehow I can't see where the map becomes advanced. You can easily figure out how to do a part if your knowledge is on the edge. That's not the deal. You don't need to use your brain at all that's why 3k players finished the map after a short time.hi_leute_gll wrote:It requires advanced understanding of Tw's physics and about how to handle a dummy in general. On Moderate it would get ~2*.
Wow. 2 out of dozens. I am not talking about re-ratings in general. It can always happen a map gets a wrong rating, some are really hard to rate. The made failure currently is that the testers take their own skill-level as benchmark, which results in bad ratings especially for lower difficulties. Currently every second "easy" map gets a rating out of space. There are even extreme cases like Undrag2. We should want to improve this.RayB. wrote:Nowadays ? You also weren't back then... We even rerated 2 of your iMTG maps lately which were wrong rated by 2*. I mean such statements do nothing to the topic above all when they are wrong ?
This is exactly what I mean with taking the own skill-level as benchmark. For you - an old player - 3k is nothing special. Every nub has 3k. But do they really?RayB. wrote:Somehow I can't see where the map becomes advanced. You can easily figure out how to do a part if your knowledge is on the edge. That's not the deal. You may want to understand my sentence before you answer. I never said something about points...RayB. wrote:that's why 3k players finished the map after a short time.
