DDNet is turning 4 years old and it is time for something big! Thanks to the experienced mappers of TOP clan (and ٭ıƞdex'<3) and especially RayB. I am happy to present you with 2 weeks packed full with 8 great maps. All maps will be released at 20:00 CEST on the respective dates:
Short Tournaments and Releases
So we have 4 Tournaments with "first to finish wins" on Sunday, July 23, Saturday, July 29, Sunday, July 30 and Sunday, August 6. But that's not all, because it's throwback time! All of the maps released in this event, except brainfduck, are part of one of our classic "Long Tournaments" that finishes on Monday, August 7 at 20:00 CEST.
For the long tournament "best rank" wins, not "first finish". So as the 7 maps of this Birthday Event are released, you can keep competing to get the best times on them (teamrank on team maps, solo rank on solo maps obviously). On August 7 we will determine who got the best ranks on all these maps by then! To see how this used to work you can check out our very first tournament. We will use the same points calculation:
