I have screencast the demo but can't upload it because mp4 files aren't supported. Can someone tell me either how to access the demos or which file extensions are supported?

In the evidence I'd like to post, you see me typing. I was whispering with another moderator I enjoy playing with and he too demanded bulletproof evidence. I personally think this must be a joke, given Jesus Christ's reputation of being a blocker and general asshole. Please excuse my French.

One has to start recording every game, cut the demos if they're too long, post the files to the forum (if one can access/upload them) and by the time a moderator watches the demo, if he even can be bothered to do so, the match is over and the blocker has left, probably having blocked further players along the way. All just to prove that a known blocker is in fact a blocker.

Jesus Christ is just one example. There are others I'm sure you've heard of, but they don't get dealt with, rendering the game unenjoyable.

Hahaha xD
Szartujesz, or however "you're joking" is written in Polish.
You have blocked me countless times midgame - one such block I can prove if I manage to upload it. You funvote like crazy, impersonated me while doing your thing, and you're known to be a blocker among many players, because that's what you do. You get voted off all the time. Lucky you moderators are very lethargic in dealing with you.
right now i leave this topic
dont want read ur posts anymore

Its 'Żartujesz' @kettu ^^.
And i doubt he will get an ip ban for every ddnet server :P Even with evidence.
AND, there is no point in even arguing with this clown and many other trolly clowns. :P
Better ignore then give them any attention.

Moderators wont ban him, if he doesn't annoy anyone. Even if he did in past.

I have my doubts too, hence this thread. But if "players" like him don't face consequences for their doing, one has to question the role of the moderators. Again, there are many players which are known for blocking, some of them do nothing but block, yet nothing happens. At best, they get their "severe" punishment of a one hour ban on one single server. Most times however, players have to repeatedly call votes until they're gone - for five minutes.

Getting reprimanded for "funvoting" a known blocker because one didn't happen to record the session and hence can't provide evidence just further alienates the honest players and tilts the community towards the lamers of which there exist plenty, which didn't happen by chance.

I uploaded the video here: https://mega.nz/fm/nwxmnTZD
It's not the best example in regards of the block not being a terminal one like this weekend, but it nevertheless shows him blocking which I was required to provide evidence of.

Five days later, it's time to wrap this discussion up:

Take home messages for blockers:

-Every server is a block server. Disregard the tags which indicate otherwise.

-Blocking is encouraged.

-You can block with impunity, even when moderators are around:
  • As the example of Jesus Christ has shown, moderators will still demand evidence even though there have been three consecutive vote calls to kick you by different players. The particular moderator, just a fish, doesn't know how to record a demo, let alone how to import one in his client, but he will demand one nonetheless just for the sake of it. Once such evidence has been provided, as the case of this topic displays, nothing will be done ragardless.
  • As the example of Vloom shows, which I've witnessed today, it takes three consecutive calls by three different players plus a message in the chat adressing a moderator, in this particular case CrashtimeHD, for them to start noticing you. You have blocked several players up to this point, but they won't kick you straight away. No, they will friendly ask you to stop. CrashtimeHD isn't like the other moderators though, he's a brave young man and brings up the courage to utter a threat: "one more block and I will have to kick you". But Vloom is intelligent and knows that the dreadful words of CrashtimeHD are merely an empty threat, and continues to block. And indeed, after two more players blocked and one more votecall, nothing happened. A further, fifth votecall will then kick you for five minutes. Just change the server or come back again after five minutes.
-Corollary to the point above, you don't have to read the messages moderators send to you. They have no weight. Moderators will probably ask you for permission to ban you before they can muster the courage to execute the forbidden command.

-You can continue blocking for months, no moderator will hinder you. After you having established the reputation of a notorious blocker, moderators will still regard themselves as your advocate, giving you the benefit of the doubt, demanding evidence of regular players and in the end do nothing regardless.

-Moderators will choose to whine about there allegedly not being enough moderators in the community rather than stepping into action themselves. Others are supposed to do the dirty work of moderation, not them.

-Moderators will choose to reprimand ordinary players for "funvoting" if they call several votes to kick you rather than having to deal with you.

Take home messages for everyone else:

-Don't listen to moderators.

-Don't bother contacting moderators in the game. They will have wimpy excuses for doing nothing about blockers.

-Moderators will claim that they need bulletproof evidence before they even consider stepping into action, even when a notorious blocker gets called off multiple times by multiple players. Don't listen to them, providing them with the supposedly required bulletproof evidence won't do anything. It won't even get noticed. They just tell you they require evidence to fend their own responsibility.

-Don't bother posting on the forum. Nothing will happen. They won't even read your post or inspect the evidence because they can't be bothered.

-Moderators will choose to rather attack your tone than doing anything about any bad state of affairs, as other discussions in this forum indicate.
