DDNet resolution problem.
I've been trying to play Teeworlds on my laptop, but somehow I can't get a good view. I have a 1920x1080 pixels big screen, so normally I would choose the 1920x1080 options as the resoluion of the game. This failed. Then I tried several other sizes and it seems that my screen only handles a certain amount of pixels (although it's still 1920x1080). In other words: when I have tw 1920x1080 then I don't see the borders of the game (menu, filters, ip-input, etc.) and when I choose 640x480 then I get a window (without window borders) of the tw menu of 640x480 on my screen.
I've tried many things but nothing solves the problem. So do any of you guys what the problem is here?

Re: DDNet solution problem.
By the way:
- I used the DDNet client.
- My screen is 1920x1080, 15.6 inch.
- I use Windows 8.1.
- I use a Lenovo laptop with NVidia GeForce GTX 860M (maxwell) and Intel Core i7-4710HQ.
- The normal Teeworlds client has the same problem. So I assume the problem is my laptop, but if you guys know what this problem is? This would help me.

Have you tried to launch the game in windows mode ? Borderless windows ?

1920x1080 shouldn't fail. Why does it?

Re: DDNet solution problem.
1920x1080 (16:9) is somehow too big for my screen, with or without borders and fullscreen or not fullscreen.
Now I managed to get the whole menu on my screen if I use 1600x900 (16:9), borderless and full screen.
Still I would appriciate it if somebody knows what this problem causes and how to fix this, because (naturally) I want to have a higher resolution, 1920x1080.

Re: DDNet solution problem.
Only thing that comes to my mind would be MAYBE your screen is more than 1920x1080 wide (by software ofc) the screen only produces an image of max 1920x1080 and the "borders" are out of the view?
btw please make sure your graphics card is activated in BIOS (i had [and have] a few problems with Lenovo PCs)

Re: DDNet solution problem.
Yeah, I would guess your screen is actually 1600x900, not 1920x1080. Maybe an external screen is assumed to be plugged in with size 1920x1080 and that causes this problem. What model is your laptop?

Re: DDNet solution problem.
Maybe your resolution in Windows is also 1600x900? Do other games work at 1920x1080?

Re: DDNet solution problem.
Didn't test it with other games yet because I meanly use my laptop for schoolwork. But I'll download steam and test it with other games. Also I checked Windows and it seems that everything is just fine. 1920x1080, 60Hz and 32 bits color (although I have a 64 bits system).
I saw that I have the NVidia grapics card and an on-board intel HD 4600 graphics card. So I started DDNet while having the settings on high performance and (DDNet settings n 1920x1080 and) it still didn't work out well.
Any more suggestions about how to fix this problem? I'll try other games as soon as I can.
