Sky Island

Difficulty: between 1 and 2 stars in my opinion

Would be nice to get a general feedback because this is my first map :)

Played with mapper.

Way to short, many cheats and more annoying part than good ones

Mapper agreed to put this in archive. He will try one a new map or maybe one a rework.

Hey,

as my first try at this map was declined I improved it in any way possible. (Added a few parts, replaced/removed boring parts, removed every known bug and removed any known cheat)
My guess is Dummy *2-3. The first 2 parts are 2* and the others are 3* in my opinion.

checked quickly with welf,
freeze is almost invisible at some spots (tele 1, 2, 3 area)
some corners are missing (below cp5, and below cp12)
the map gets too dark near the end, maybe brighten it up a bit
at the right of cp7, you can go with your dummy and slide to cp11, thus skipping a few parts
can do the same once you get rocket, using rocketfly instead
also tele 3 part is a bit too hard imo, most people will skip rocket and just edge to get dummy back

welf thinks gameplay gets too confusing, was fine to me. could use some "helping arrows" on a few parts, i guess we need more opinions on that

I've put a few freeze tiles at the edge so you can't edge anymore. The part is compared to the others not that difficult imo. (I struggle more with the shotgun part before)

As you said a few more opinions would be nice. What parts are you talking about in general?

For your first time, you are already creating your inspiration design, that is good.

You should make the freeze more brighter, it just gives a better feel of that map.

The gameplay could be better, but for your 1 time, the Ideas are nice.

I have a question, Is this a map, what you want release?
If yes, Is the gameplay really fun for you?
(This is no offend, I just wanna know)

For me the Parts are fun to play. What do you think about each Part? What Part is "good" and what Part is "bad" in your opinion?
