Useful ddnet HUD idea.

Useful ddnet HUD idea.

Hello this post is mainly for HMH, it's a suggestion.
Repleace the armors and hearts-

with something useful.
I came up with something like this

it shows what weapon do you have, sometimes i find annynoing if i need to stop music or if i have to unmute teeworlds
only to check if i got the weapon if im in freeze
And MAYBE a thing that shows if you have an endless hook,infinite jumps etc. but idk about that, it might make the game too easy.

Shields are useful in ddnet, they show how much time you stay frozen. Don't think we should remove them.

Hmm, maybe just leave 3 shields for freeze indicator. But still personally i never look at them, and when i do they are pretty badly timed (from my experience)

You can just disable hearts and shields in the HUD options :o
There are also not shown in other mods then, but you can always enable them again or even make a bind for it.

About the other display features. I don't think they are really that necessary and the idea with weapon indicator was suggested like 2525 times in other threads. It's generally kinda hard to implement this features and it may overload the client with too many displays and functions.

Disabling hearts/shields - less "overload the client with too many displays and functions."
And repleace them with something usefull for ddrace something like my suggestion.
Doesn't have to be the weapons indicator, maybe ask community what should be there instead of hearts/shields

Hearts useless in DDNet mode, shields could be replace to numeric timer, and added guns indicators sounds as awesome fresh changes in client.

I guess its cool idea but I see it not as part of HUD but some effects on your tea. So when player cant hammer make his hammer transparently(or any other effect), same with foots, some effects on your hook when it endless, etc.

But I see it as something undoneable =((( for me at least.

And if you play other gametypes(ctf, dm, tdm)
hearts and shields are useful to have, so they should stay...
But knowing what powerups you have would be nice...
And did u mean TEE? Just Asking...
