Re: A DDrace Gamemode Wiki
Hammerkick is the thing when you jump, hook and then "kick" your mate far away, while hammerrun is the thing explained in the wiki.

Re: A DDrace Gamemode Wiki
Never heard "Hammerkick" in 7 years. I call that "Throw" (with or without hammer)

Re: A DDrace Gamemode Wiki
Yeah, throw is used way more often. I also heard hammerkick rather barely, but if then in context of throwing and not in any relation to hammerrun.

Re: A DDrace Gamemode Wiki
As mentioned in the "Hammerhit" article throwing is just another way of doing hammerhit. Most people think that hammerhit only means that you "unfreeze-hit" someone who had fallen in freeze, but it can also mean that you hammerhit (throw) someone to a place. Basically all these words (wallhammer, hammerrun, hammerhit etc.) sound the same and are confusing for anyone who isn't familiar with them, but they are commonly used by the community, therefore called that way on the wiki.

Re: A DDrace Gamemode Wiki
Why everything has to have a name?
Just describe what you mean:
"Hit me through the wall!" and not "do wallhammer ok?"
Rly people think unfreezing someone has a special name?

Re: A DDrace Gamemode Wiki
That's basically what happens ingame, but you can't call an article on wiki "Hit me through the wall!

Re: A DDrace Gamemode Wiki
Its much more faster. Imagine you play a map and there is a part where you want to use hammerhit. Writing "I will go in freeze, you should jump over me then hook me and hammer me up after that other way around" goes to "hh". Last thing is writable in a very short time like when you have no time to write because you are not safe. And things usually get a name if they are used often.

sort of off-topic here, but here is a suggestion: I believe that would perfect to have very short videos, or even animated GIFs, showing the movement, in the end of the each technique article. This would could improve the understanding of the techniques.

Funny, but had this idea yesterday :P Definitely +1 (and I also thought about using them in other place, but that's secret yet ^^)
