Next Step by Fanta

Heyhoo,

so I'm working on a map that I made on my own. It's the first one which really could be used on ddnet :D
I'm working on my mapping skills, but I find out more and more, so the design could be modified. I do everything on my own, so I'm glad for some critics and tips for that.

But first of all I wanted to show u guys my product, so u can tell me, if it's something for ddnet, or if I have to change some parts/do some more cps for lower level or stuff like that.

Go on, gimme ur opinion :)

Heyhoo,

sorry I noticed 2 bugs in my map. :(

I fixed a shield and a tele cp. So here is the new one.

Edit 20.08. // I added tele around the freeze in the last hf part to the finishline, so there is no cutting possible anymore. It's not in this version, I dont wanted to upload it again, but this is already fixed ;)

I tested the map with BamBam. He said it could be moderate 4*. It's the final version.
The only thing that must be fixed is the background, so there are generic tiles all over the world (including out of map). BamBam will do it for me soon :).

@ Welf i fixed the teleports too ;)

i had a look at it, map doesn't look too bad (so it should be released, when it is tested), maybe gameplay could be improved at some parts, but i didn't test gameplay. some stuff in the map is weird.

this was not really a full test, i only searched for bugs ^^

So I fixed everthing:

1. I changed the part a little bit so the undeep is impossible when u cheat this part like u said (I put the undeep more right into the freeze)

3. fixed & I put the checkpoint behind the shields so there is no cheat possible anymore :p

6. I wont change it so they can see, the first one can releax deep and the second must have some rocketfly skills :D (I can change it if its to stupid :D)

9. I really dont know how to cheat the super jump? Tell me pls so I can change :)

11. I put the SG more left, so u only need it, if u lose it in the shield at the end of the solo. Cause u dont need the SG do get into the solo part, I just figured out :D so no cheat possible and u have to get the SG from down the hook part.

to 9. you can take cp 36 and then go back into the super jump part (and there into tele), then you have super jump at to tele 36

okay I added no superjump tiles around the CPTO 36, so if u cheat, u wont have superjump anymore ;)

Gameplay:
Not bad map, its soo long, and sometimes so faily. Some parts are even novice 3-4* when u already done ~70% of map, but its not so critical. Generally good gameplay, but u can got a bit bored after 60-70% of map. Length+faily = moder ~5*
Design:
That is bad side of map. IMO choosed bad colors and background. So middle design, suggestion to change color of freeze, probably hoockable(thats bad stacked with other), and try to make good background.

Almost all parts work well, other ~5% is impossible with dummy, so dont really tested by me.
Bigtest results (much of screens not really important but I decide to post them all) :
