Input Delay after Win10 reinstallation

Post by Neovo »

Hey there,

I reinstalled Windows 10 after some troubles with other programs. After that, playing Teeworlds isn't possible any more. I got some kind of "lags", its not a lag like ping jumping, its more like a little delay with hook or other mouse/keyboard inputs. So its delayed like if I would have a ping of 120. All other games runs fine.

Of course I installed all system drivers like, Chipset, Lan, Graphic Card and other relevant drivers. Also I Installed Netframework 3.5 (contains NF 2/3) and 4.7, Visual C++ 2012-2015, Java.

Also DDnet is setted forwards through the firewall.

I dont have any idears anymore, maybe u have some tips for me. :)

My Specs:

Motherboard Name ASRock Z97 Killer
Graphiccard Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970
OS Version 10.0.15063.608 (Win10 RS2)
RAM 8GB
Ethernet Killer E2200 Gigabit Ethernet Controller

Kind regards

Some things to try: Disable vsync, set fsaa to 0, cl_refresh_rate 0, gfx_refresh_rate 0, inp_mouseold 1, cl_predict 1.

Someone should write a FAQ with common client problems. Or even better, fix them in the default settings.

Thx, i think gfx_refresh_rate 0 and inp_mouseold helped.

Another question: cant find cl_refresh_rate 0 in console (F1)
