Looks nice but apart from gameplay I find it hard to play with this design.

It is a weird map
I found some stuff to mention (and there is some stuff to do before the gameplay is releaseable), but before i do more in testing this we need a solution for the design. Is this design releaseable? For me it isn't.

Besides the fact that opinions on whether the map should eventually be released or not are welcome, could anyone tell me what server it would belong to once - if - would be released?

Tested it, sadly I don't think it's releaseable. You made many of the most common mistakes throughout your whole map. The design is cool but it isn't fitting or very playable for ddrace maps.

Just because its not releaseable you dont have to delete the whole map Dr. Jekyll ^^
I know you put much time and work in the map and didnt expect feedb ack like this.
Try to remaster it :
-cut some usually common parts
-create parts which are specializing in your 3D design (edgejumps for example would have a nice effect - imo)
- and for all your upcoming maps in the future ------> more space is key ^^ at least 20 tees have to fit in (especially at the start)
and come back when you´re done
Problem with the design is that most ppl would play with entities anyway.

I also agree with Kintaros opinon, if you want to rework this map, i would recommend to make rather a simple novice map out of it (since its hard enough to play "3D" for the first time in tw (1*Mod should also be fine)) , with some parts that only fit in with 3d design, like small puzzle-parts or something like that. Could be something new, but sure would be some work. ^^
