Zoe by jao & NeXus

Post by NeXusTw »

Hey Community
jao and me made a new DDrace map called "Zoe".
We are almost done mapping.

The difficulty could be: Brutal 1*
Time of the map around: ~20-30min

Edit: Map is now on the testservers.

Hope you enjoy it & happy testing.

Tested with mapper, pretty nice map. The long dummydrag part should be changed, as well as the 2 other boring drags. It would look a lot better with different bricks instead of just repeated. I think this map can be released after some changes are made and such.

We already randomized all bricks. Also working on a better version of the dummy drag part.
Thanks for replying & testing with me

First of All, thanks for testing.
But "38630 bugs" sounds like the map wouldnt work at all.
So can you tell us exactly what you mean and what to improve on the map?

Let's say it's true because you can skip the startline for example

tested with viper and oblique
-fixed some little cheats
-added some unfrezzes
-changed 2 freeze/tp designs
-changed second part a bit
-fixed 1 entity bug
-deleted unused envelopes

since everyone likes the gameplay/design and i guess all bugs have been fixed it would be nice to get another opinion from a tester
difficulty should be brutal 1*

Like he said, I did a quick sweep of the map, looking for mostly design and entity bugs (apparently the gameplay had already been tested many times). I also checked in the editor for problems. It's definitely good enough to release, though I think maybe we need another thorough test before it's ready.
