That's a sad day for DDRace, we all had great fun on DDNet and will never be thankful enough to deen for all the work and passion he put into this project.
However this certainly doesn't mean that the fun ends here, as we (DDNet staff) were already planning on a backup solution to keep the mod alive and make sure you all still have a place to play once DDNet would go down.
We are actively working on it to make things happen as fast as possible and provide a temporary solution till we sort out details and get fully working servers.
Our goal is to save as much as possible of everyone's work from the past 2 years, hosting servers with a similar experience to the one DDNet offered while improving some aspects of it.
As great as DDNet was, other people can also host servers. Be it us, someone else from the community or someone completely new.
Don't leave just yet, give us a bit more time and you will all be able to enjoy your daily dose of DDRace!
