Cheaters on ddnet?
We can Force players to play on ddnet servers with ddnet client, so we fix the fly BOT problems and others BOT... I know some Italians too who use BOT too but they are noobs with BOT too
It is just an idea, I think Deen or others will think something better

Oh no pls not. Bots are a part of every online game, unfortunately. I think you can't change that without taking a lots of freedom and user rights.
You know the very most bot clients are based on ddnet. So your solution would change nothing.
And if you force people to use ddnet, the DDNet project would become an own game in a game.
As we are talking about bots could anyone answer to me which bot some should have used for triplefly. I mean the common bots are not working very well (aimbot; flybot). My question is because of triple fly top5. And how deen added back the the names.

I don't want to speak about my map, close this discussion pls, u have enought just talking about fly bots i saw, and edge hook BOT...
I think we have to fix that, because it isn't correct for players who play lecit

It's not possible, we can't force people to use the ddnet client and there is no way to prevent bots.
You could only try to use some heuristics, which would probably require an huge amount of time and also won't completley solve the problem (undetected, false-positive, ..). Would end up in a race between botter and coder, where writing a circumventing the mechanism is much simpler then implementing them.

Not possible, cause they can change their IP and are back.
I think what deen did with the name of painless could be a good way. So everyone knows that this guys are botting and can ignore them. But it also could become a new problem, cause kids will feeling cool having a bot-tag.
