i already tested the map and fixed with the mapper, before he uploaded it (and found some "bugs").
Good map, Moderate 3-4*

Didnt test the map but its from Delo, that means is fucking amazing and need to be released

The map is lacking in innovative gameplay but I hope that doesn't matter as the overall look is fine..

The design of this map is pretty good. It's just a typical Delo design.
But tbh i don't understand the waterfalls which coming just out of the wall and disappear in the ground. Btw if you look more accurate you can see a bug line between the waterfall, the same applies for the 'river' you can fall in and die.

The trees in the background at start are looking somehow weird, but maybe it's just me. If it's wanted to only see them blurred that gone wrong. For me they look like they have bad quality. Ah and IF you should see something blurred it's the mountains, they are more far away then the trees huh.

The worst on this map (sorry for the people who hoped it's going to be great) are the parts. I am a huge Delo fan too and i loved the madness maps, but in this map here i got to say i can't see even 1 part which includes something new or even original.

At start you got to walk felt 10 miles to reach the first parts.
It starts with a tightly built drag part .. i wouldn't even mention this part but the problem is that we will see much more like this in the map (a tightly built drag part is NEVER a good start into a map, only if it is for 2p teams).
The 3. part is one i saw in at least 10 maps, it's the famous xyz_ddrace 'cheat' at start also.

Next coming are 3 swings over free fall. Sounds cool or? Yeah .. actually it is not. We got 3 hooks which are 20 tiles from one another away. The same distance without any duty to change your postion somehow. It just hook - > - hook - > ...

Then a part with 3x3 blocks you got to hammer the other tee to land on the edge and just jump on the next one right.

I don't really need to say something about this .. and THAT ..

After that we get teleported to a unspectacular gores with 2 boring drag parts like i mentioned already - we will see more of them.
The map pretty much goes on like that until end.

I described the map now to about the half. Why did i stop? Because i don't need to tell you anything of that Delo. You already said:

Yes. And you should change it. I was happy and really excited as i saw you posted a new map here but my wishes about a great one were not fulfilled.
I wrote this to spur you. I and the others want so see a good Delo map. Oldschool but still cool with a good flow and variety.

Hey Silex,

yep I know, the animitions are not on point (I think it's due to the poorly designed mapres) and some things like the waterfall are not realistic(?!).
But as I read through your small review there were one or two things which discomposed me:

1. How much conceit do you got that you patronize people? When you tell others that the parts are bad everybody will be in complete agreement? Bigoted!

2. Let's be honest, it's nearly impossible to invent something new in DDRace nowadays (and it doesn't help to put some pink trees here and there and a few deathtiles in every part to make the map and the parts look unique - no offense). It is even harder for maps in oldschool style because you can't vary between deepfreeze parts, teleport (in the parts ofc), endless jetpack flights and everything else.

If Lost Story was released today, what would you say? Unimaginative parts? Endless Gores elements but nice graphics?

At the end I'm sorry to say that I won't change any of the parts except they contain major bugs.

That's not true, there are always new parts to be found if you look hard enough.
...It is even harder for maps in oldschool style...
Then don't map "oldschool style", as far as I know that just means boring parts, poor mapping and ugly designs. Just get on with the time, there's plenty of room to get creative. :)

this is the most important part

your maps used to be great and we all loved them but right now this map doesn't feel as good..
the parts with the rocket are nice, but before that it's pretty unbalanced, not group-friendly and some parts really look like just filler stuff

for instance the lazer that you get literally for 1 "part" (which is boring, basically shooting a guy through freeze and that's it) and you lose it :(

mapping "oldschool-like" is nice but that doesn't mean it should have lower standards!

some design bugs as pointed out by silex aswell but that's easily fixable
