Gonna agree with jao.
I mean you got some nice/orignial ideas, but you map, like jao already said, too complicated.
For example you map everything that you also can go back at anytime, and in my opionion theres no need for that, it just often looks wierd, or you accidently go back. Make the Parts more enjoyable put more time into them, remember "Quality > Quantity". And pls, keep your solos shorter, if you really want to aviod beginners, then just create a short solo which fits the difficulty level. Kill tiles all over the Map are rather annoying. I mean first you put afford in an opportunity to go back all over the time, but then on the other hand you make it easy for one to die if he just missed one hook.
And mabye you could use another Design? I mean you can create mapres by yourself, you could create so much unique and cool stuff if it come to design, but you keep using the same kind of Design, with diffrent colours.
*Edit: And dont use deep that often, ddrace is more about teamplay, and not dragging his teammate through half of the map ;)

3.0 is on novice level, but faily like a brutal map. Also alot stuff is made too complicated.
Like Stormphönix said you should make parts more simple and easy to understand.

I've played one of the first versions and didnt think like this.
Imo he could make the map less faily and less complicated this shouldnt be a reason for a decline.
I mean in the most cases it is enough but this map is mapped well so fixing/improving shouldnt be that hard.
How you said the parts are original and nice. So please help him to make the best out of them with screen/suggestions. (If not I'll search the time to do it)

Alright, I guess some people will like the map after a good rework. (Maybe I was just too annoyed by the newer version )
So first of all rework the solo and last part. Make the solo part very short! Remove all kill tiles. You might want to rework the design too (I know you want to ).

Tested with some people.
This map (the oldest of the three in the forum), exceeds the limit of maps in ddnet, so I suggest leave it here waiting for the others two, which by the way, won't be reworked.

Tested with Starkiller.
The map is too long and for its length way to faily.
The parts look nice, but they are not, when you actually play them.
The Design is nice, but the gameplay annoying.
