step1: go to /pause
step2: write /pause <name> (the player u want to watch)

then you are resumed instead of looking at the player

It's could be considered a feature, not a bug. Some people have a bind x /pause mybestfriend so they can toggle between watching their best friend and playing.

Nevertheless I see your point, fixed: https://git.io/vbQcH

i think you guys are wrong as it works different for me
from joining a server
/pause = spectating with my tee still there
/pause <NAME> = switches to spectating given NAME

bind x /pause mybestfriend = no such command /pause
ever if i fix it like bind x say /pause mybestfriend still does not toggle like Deen says
i'm using Linux Mint & DDnet 10.8.6 (if i'm dead wrong here sorry i'm tired)

deen just fixed the toggle if there is a name after /pause and yes, deen forgot the say command but that doesnt matter i thnk xD
so if you write /pause it will toggle between pause and playing. if you write /pause NAME it will never go back to playing like it used to it will only go to the provided player

Ya after some sleep i got it, but thanks anyway :), but man 8 hours from comment to live on the server is fast, good job deen.

on testing it on a local server /pause NAME operates exactly the same /pause maybe it's that i didn't configure it right though & it's not the "bug" is question.
