Whats wrong with the servers? I find myself having constant lags even though i have perfect ping. I don't mean delay only, but mainly running 5km to the right when i pressed it for a split second. Impossible to play that way. I play on the German servers, havent tried others, but this has been going on for some weeks now, sometimes its better, sometimes worse. My internet is perfectly fine, have no problems at all in other games and even here on DDnet i have a perfect ping (And it does not go up when a lag spike appears). So is it DDnet that has problems? Anything i can do to prevent lag?

Nowadays the servers' PCU is too high to play normally. It happent 2 days ago and its not solved well. Explain somebody why its not solved yet.

Well, then it's been high for weeks honestly. Been having these problems a long time now. The only time i can play is late late late at night or very early in the morning, then it seems to be fine again. But at day/evening its at its worst. Also wondering why this hasnt been resolved yet because this problem has been around a good amount of time now. Sometimes it doesn't even find the German DDrace servers. Sometimes not even a single server.

yes i know this problem and have it sometimes myself. i think its the problem of the ddnet ger servers because when i play on rus servers i dont have the lags like on the ger servers, i just have a bit higher ping than normally.

Might be. As i said, haven't tried the other servers yet. Its also not as much on the Gores servers, but sometimes it's even lagging there. Just bugs me because it's been around for a long time now. And it's kinda annoying to see a 27ping but not being able to move at all. I guess this thread won't lead anywhere other than people can let their frustration out here (As i am right now, haha).

I believe it's the DDoS protection we are running on firewall. Admins should try disabling it. (But then we'll get DDoS attacks again of course)

No matter what it is, it should be resolved soon. This problem has been here way too long now. Ger KoG servers are totally fine, while the German DDrace servers are lagging like hell ATM. Not one single person on the servers, and out of 6 i got on one server, the others wouldn't let me join.

Hi! i have lags on more teeworlds servers not only DDRace.. but only in DDRace have the big fucking lags... ping is 110 but play like ping 500.... this is very annyoning... moderate maps looks like hard or insane...

Is my connection or attacks on the servers problem? attacks that have lasted for years... my connection is 3Mbps...
In the past still having lags ... I could play much better than actually ... seriously, the change is very pronounced.
