That happens when you once started baumalein. It disables autoupdate in ddnet client.
i last started baumalein months ago, and it always ever worked :o

thats not right. i used baumalein months ago on my old Computer and then i noticed that the client is shit and cheating is not good so i swapped to ddnet again. and everything (the autoupdater) worked fine.

Ok, strange. Someone told me it changed the update setting, but I haven't verified.
