Exactly like Chairn said, enable 'show file-extensions' and you should be able to change the .txt to .cfg.
(Dateinamenerweiterungen im Ansicht Tab vom Explorer, wenn du Win10 hast)
Otherwise you can choose the file type when saving: Go to Save As.., then select all filetypes and type .cfg behind the filename.
Datei, speichern unter, alle dateien statt .txt und dann einfach dateiname.cfg und bestätigen)
If that still isn't described well enough, then google it. There are many german tutorials as well :p
With a proper named file and the lines from Lady Saavik's post, it should all work fine now.

when i try to rename it, it says "autoexec_server.cfg".. but when i look at it, its full name is "autoexec_server.cfg.txt" and i cant change that
