Floating stars

Post by Element Finland »

I'm not exactly sure about anything.. but see how close they're in positions, I think it spawns what you first see in the spectator.. :s as you can probably see they're in same spot.

I've always had this bug, even long before DDNet. If anyone has an idea why this happens, I'd be glad to hear.

It happens to me when you or your dummy (don't know if this matters) stayed in freeze at the moment you changed things of a map and reloaded it (not sure if it happens all the time).
Even the freeze stars appeared :D

It just happens sometimes for no real reason - even if you see map for first time and you didn't even joined yet, these stars are waiting for you...
And it's not depending on client - i had it in every i used

I know one way how to reproduce it. Go in freeze and connect dummy. If this doesn't work, try again disconnect and connect dummy. So you can get this floating stars. Sometimes they disappear in a while but sometimes you can connect to another server with other map and find them at the same position.
