so far i have 3 things that are a little bit off with the new forum layout.
1. The release boxes that testers can post wont work.
2. the board preferences in the user control panel doesnt work.
3. i don tlik ethat the quick links are hidden in that menu, i liked it the old way.

It's not really a new design. I updated the phpBB software. Not sure yet how to fix those things, maybe someone else knows.

I just received some more bug reports from sorga:
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=3649&start=10 (custom -release- bbcode, already mentioned)
viewtopic.php?f=42&t=4639 (white image on white background)

Anyways, thanks for updating the board software! :D
There are some issues right now, but they should be fixed easily and we benefit in the longterm.

I'm currently not really that experienced in phpbb, but it looks rather understandable and there are many online ressources. So I definitely want to get more familiar with the structur and functions. Especially with the planned structural updates in mind, stay tuned for more information soon ._. So for now, I quickly tried some things with the release tag. It's a custom tag, only for this forum. Seems like the newest version changed the syntax (variable declaration) slightly.
I changed it and it works again. But unfortunately with a changed syntax :/
I'll try to fix that later and also take a look at the other custom bbcodes by Soreu :D

With the other problems, that has surely something todo with the overall design (https://github.com/ddnet/ddnet-web/tree ... /prosilver), right? :o As written above, I can take a look at that in the future.
But for now, maybe someone else is smarter than me .___.

another "bug":
the transparent bg when u post a file is now white and not that squares from tw like before

I'll try to fix those bugs.

Edit: i think i can't fix it, since you need admin permissions to edit custom bbcode.

I fixed it, now old syntax works, but looks like the posts aren't updated

Transparent bg fixed, but you need to use ctrl-f5 to force your browser to reload the css.

The other bbcode snippets should work, as long as they don't contain more arguments I guess. And I can also confirm, that images are working again.
So we basically just have one problem left:
