Moderator Application

I am applying for moderator on DDNet servers.

My in game name is Xyloae & Acetylsalicylic, I am currently 17 years old, and living in USA (PA). I can speak English and Chinese (mandarin & cantonese) fluently. The pass IGNs are 1046151528 : ), Xylose, and Tee Disgrace.

I am a steam released player but I am extremely active in the game, I usually play about at least 4 hours a day on DDrace Network which that made me felt like I would be a good moderator since I am almost always on. The main reason that I want to apply for moderator is because of the block and hate speech experience when I started the game, it made me want to create better experience for new player, especially with the Chinese players because there was a couple time where people block for a hour and no moderator came due to Chinese players don't know the existence of the DDraceNetwork server in discord nor they know English. I am aware that there is a group that TsFreddie later made to help out CHN players, and I would like to support it if this application were to be accept.

I do not have pass experience with moderating, however I'll try my best to communicate with players and not to abuse my power by accident. My discord account is 孎嬜#4643, if you have questions please DM me, I know am I am not well known in the community.

Hey Xyloae,

thank you for applying as a moderator for DDNet. I myself would say having someone like you in the mod team would be a huge benefit.
English AND Chinese fluently? Dang :P Especially now with our Chinese Community going completely ham, taking up pretty much the entire bandwith we have available. The only thing that is stopping us from accepting you is, you being new to us.

Would it be fine for you to apply on a later date again?
Interacting with people on our discord, taking part on ongoing discussions, gaining more ingame experience by playing and interacting with our fellow playerbase and such would be nice. :)
