But isn't trial tester exactly made for this problem Deen. People who wanna be tester can be tested through the trial tester flag. And if they make their job well they'll get the official tester status. Why do we test people before getting the tested tester status.

Yeah, but I don't want to give every single person that says "I want to be a tester" access to our test server.

Yep, exactly that was the idea, but in the last weeks too much random guys were added, so the group rather messed up than beeing helpful for newbies. Not everyone who posts here wants rlly to be a Tester and i think it is good to filter such people out.

For me before let someone be a tester you should at least know the person... i mean, i think nobody saw fokkonaut in game, but he mapped some maps for ddnet and so it can be a nice tester... anyway if someone just come here and say i want to be a tester, without know him, we must say no... i think if you really want to be a tester you can start asking the mapper the map as PM, so you can be known and you can start being trial, like i did.

I allready made a couple of maps and if ddnet needs more testers i would like to join the tester community

Hello everyone, I`m playing teeworlds 5 years, and only 2-3 month ago coming on ddnet, I like to mapping and test maps, my english not so good but I wanna to test maps. Can I be a tester?

GolfaN there are 2 problems:
1. your english
2. you probably don't really know, what a "good" map is, so there might be problems when you rate maps

i am not sure about you, but you we could add you to the trial testers and see what happens

Anyway if you become trial tester you just have to test map, i suggest you to test them with other testers on-line so you can even learn more... and you'd to start with easy ones...

If you can't really wait and you already start testing just send me a PM and i will send you all the maps to test xD
