why is the hook collisions not cheating then?
and by the way that suggestion in 13x37 is not precise. you do not aim where the line tells you are going to aim. the line is aiming a few pixel lower than what the rocket does.

There are some really annoying fails which you can only save by hooking through terrible corners. That's what hook collision is for.
