save movements
save movements
heey,
srry for my english but, is it an idea to save short movements and then load it on other place and you do the exact same thing like you saved and you can repeat this all the time if you want. That could be fun and handy in some races. Tell me what you think about it.
have a nice day,

Re: save movements
I guess you thinking about TAS (tool assisted speedrun)
which in my eyes is cheating couse you only have to do a part once and then the programm does it for you
So you could easy get 250 pipes in flappy bird and stuff like that

Re: save movements
Ya its cheating of course. You can cut all parts together and could get a top1 rank.

Re: save movements
i dont think that he wants to cheat ranks with this!
example if noobs play a faily map they can fail somewhere, they only got 1 try at a part,if they fail, they have to repeat the whole map.
it is really annoying to learn failparts like this.

You can use lan servers Welf
Re: save movements
oke i see it is a bad idea, but i had 1 other sugestion, why there is not a aimline for rocket. cause rocket do not fly straightXD you do not see where you are going to hit. with laser and shotgun you can shoot through gaps, but with rocket it is lot harder cause you cannot see where it is going to come.

Re: save movements
Have to say I can't really play without ddnet client. There are so many features I would miss. Be it antiping or entities or hookcoll or idk. Its hard to play with vanilla client. I would miss every hook with my ping of 50-60. And lots of maps on ddnet are unplayable without entities.Ama wrote:Learn how to play without client help
