Dynamic spectating option

Post by LordFalcon »

Let's say you want to follow a single player trying to beat a co-op map using a dummy. Whichever tee you choose, the camera remains on them alone, all the way through the map.

Now suppose you were to set up a command that enables fixing the camera on that player's active tee instead, so that you can see them switching tees in real time. Any thoughts on this?

i would love this feature because you'll also be able to see where this guy is spectating when he does so you can follow his train of thought :D
The question is how hard it is to implement and how many things it would break and can this be used in a bad way

Default spectating behavior.

"Now suppose you were to set up a command that enables fixing the camera on that player's active tee instead, so that you can see them switching tees in real time. Any thoughts on this?" yes, it would be awesome, & exactly what stompie said. how i would express it as is "player view", you see what they see, except with your settings(Zoom, filters, Hook col, ect.(etcetera). one could see precisely there view, but i think that too extreme. also i see this getting really messy out side of two Tee teams, so the use cases seem small. P.S. well come to the forums, the Discord is where a lot of discussion is at theses days.
