we all do it and when we do it we see where we can beat the other guy
So with my lazyness still very well intact i want to ask is it possible to make some sort of "colored" box in the one that has a better time for a map
so that i can see where im beating this guy and where he is beating me?

i have an alternative idea for Player Comparison, in-game Ghosts from your friends & top ranks. this has some down sides though,

puzzle maps would be less puzzling, although this could be negated by only sending Ghosts data after you finish.
conversions of the Ghost data to input data could be used for cheating.
only new ranks would have Ghosts.
Youtube video's of top ranks would be less popular.

but here are some upsides
easy to find cheated top ranks, as every one can review the run. (who needs 'Tee-historian'?)
puzzle maps will be less puzzling.
that feeling of second to second competition.


you can manually mimic this by getting the Ghost file of the player, putting it in your "ghosts" folder, & activating it in-game.
there is all ready 'Tee-historian' to record player inputs, so the server could record everyones ghost & save the top5, then give that to your Client to play back
i think doing this now is a bad idea, as this game to to far cemented in it's ways, it's just fun to think about :)

id dont think having a ghost of the top run is the best i dont know anyone who likes playing with a ghost on and besides figuring out he way to go on a puzzle map is half the fun
i just want a clearer way to see who has a better time
