Weapon durability
Hey there,
I've just got an idea, but didn't think thaat much about it, so you can discuss with me:
How about we add something similar to the number of Jumps to weapons, so when you collect the weapon, you get like 3 ammo.
That would make maps with many shields to prevent taking a weapon with you "better", because you don't need that many shields.
Ofc, when you have a part where you give the player 9 grenades, it's difficult to predict, whether there is a way to only use 8 and have 1 to cheat another part, but for that you can still add shields.
The thing is, that you have to do the part with limited ammo. Also on parts where you just have a weapon on one spot, so one shot, you could add this, so you don't need shields around every weapon.
If you run out of ammo, ifk if there is a way to remove it, like you would do it in f2 or with shields. But the weapons could also stay in your weapon slots.
If you run out of ammo in a part, you just collect the weapon again, to regain the ammo.
Maybe it's a bit complicated to read, but the idea should be clear. Also I don't know where to add this, because the switch layer is already used for weapons.

TL:DR Custom amount of bullets for weapons to prevent cheats (?). Appart from current infinite ones.

there would also be no extra tiles needed or so, just add the weapons in the switchlayer
