How does the killban system prevent people from blocking? If i got voted and the vote pass, what happens?

You cant kill yourself so no respawn but you can still play. Rejoining bans you for 15 mins

So, the vote pass, and you can still block if nobody freezes you. Doesn't look very effective.

Yes, as Konsti said, killbanned person can't restart the game and can't vote for the next 15 minutes. If he re-enters the game, he will be automatically banned.
So if there will be a blocker, he will simply lay down in freeze and can't do anything for 15 minutes.

Of course blocker can block you in the middle of the map and this system look useless if you play alone. But in most other cases it will help. In Gores Freeze tiles are almost everywhere, so its not very hard to move blocker to the freeze tiles if you are not alone. Besides most blockers are located at the start line. I'm not saying that this is a perfect system, but this was a fresh idea that we wanted to test.

I'll discuss with our team your proposal to make additional servers with /r enabled. In this case it can only be a separate server with separate database. This is a tricky question because it can affect the major feature of Gores: "play together, save each other" or "play together, fail together" :-)
So, following this idea Gores can become a modification for solo racers.

We opened the server with the easiest Gores maps and sort them by difficulty. That will be a great place to improve Gores skills for beginners.

Just tried the server, even the 1 star are totally out of reach for beginners.

i agree the easy server by qshar and kamillen tee is still faily. it would be nice if they made maps with teleporters instead of freeze.
