Re: |*KoG*| Choose next development project
just out of curiosity.. after you have collected your responses from players, is it possible to see the statistics/results in this forum post? I am curious to see what people would be prioritizing
*EDIT: Since im from South Africa its hard for me to play on KoG but beisdes that.. i could be wrong in saying this.. wouldnt it be better to have weekly events? I understand you are suggesting new implementations but I personally think that if you develop more Map Quests (point number 2), you could compensate for daily events and be made weekly events?Daily Events - Implement new features to the Daily Events.

You can check the result here: http://www.qshar.com/vote/result.php I'll add this link to the post.SPYRES wrote:just out of curiosity.. after you have collected your responses from players, is it possible to see the statistics/results in this forum post? Players can't respawn during event, so only few players play on it and able to finish. I don't think people will like it in case we make then weekly, but I'll talk to my team about it.SPYRES wrote: i could be wrong in saying this.. wouldnt it be better to have weekly events? Im not sure i understand what you are saying.QshaR wrote:Players can't respawn during event, so only few players play on it and able to finish. I don't think people will like it in case we make then weekly, but I'll talk to my team about it.
I understand that during the event that you cant respawn (meaning you only have 1 attempt) and that only afew people will be able to finish the map.
What i am trying to say, since http://qshar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=546 is in development with around 15 different quests per map. Why not turn Daily Events into Weekly Events since you are adding more Quests?
Which means Quest will become "like" Daily Events.
So effectively prioritize Quests more at the moment as opposed to having daily events with new implementations and quests, and turn it into weekly events with new implementations and add more quests. Then obviously you can adjust point system etc where weekly events will give higher reward.
Re: |*KoG*| Choose next development project
Sorry for a long-time response. For sure we can make them weekly, so maybe we will get more players on it. As a result of voting, map quests are only on 4-th place. I hope we will get to that project, but I'm not sure about it.SPYRES wrote:Why not turn Daily Events into Weekly Events since you are adding more Quests?

Thanks all for your votes! We received many votes and its time to count them!
Vote results are located here: http://www.qshar.com/vote/result.php (cleared from spam votes)
Here is what we gonna do as a result of it:
1. Gores for unskilled players. As far as I see, our main goal now should be creating new very easy maps to skill-up new players. We will focus on it.
2. 1 vs 1 Gores tournaments. We will make new tournament. It will be on 02.07 with similar rules as it was before: http://challonge.com/qrace_july2014 or http://challonge.com/qrace_may2014 . It will be officially announced in few days. I'll try to make the tournament automatic and fix the issues until the july. If it happens, we can make them weekly (for example every Sunday). (as SPYRES also proposed, we will make "Daily Events" running once in a week - every Saturday and increase the reward)
3. Team challenges. I don't completely understand the idea, so I'll talk to Keks about it. We will see if we have some time to implement it.

Re: |*KoG*| Choose next development project
Ok, so here is the result of this topic and running vote:
1. We opened |*KoG*| EASY Gores server and added some very easy maps there. There will be more in the future. Yesterday we also released Easy1, Easy2 and classic Aip-Gores map.
2. 1 vs 1 Gores Tournament was yesterday at 19:00. It was really fun to run this tournament type again. Not it is fully automated. The winner is Lezterp!
Thank you DDNet community for your votes and for targeting our projects to the players needs!

Not sure if blue zone is possible, maybe with Interactive Map mod?
But yeah, chances are there are not enough players to make that a thing :^)
