well im not a programmer or something.. but shouldt it be posseble to have a perfect ping on solomaps? i mean the map is static. its all there, you dont need other players, just yourself.

This is nearly possible, first of all you need perfectly stable ping and of course no packetloss. In most situations the client could predict things perfectly then. The problem is that currently a lot of physics is done serversided only and thus the code is mixed with non-physics serversided code like chatmessages. In theory physics should be done in a part of the code that is shared between client and server. But cleaning up physics without changing them even slightly or fixing bugs (which for some reason are called features now ) is pretty hard.
