Sounds
So I use both my speakers & my headset, and when I switch between those 2, I have to restart DDNet !!
It hasent allways been like this, so hopefully it can be fixed !? :S.
Didnt really annoy me that much untill lately where my headset got aids and decided to disconnect every 10 mins.. So everytime that happends the sounds goes to my speakers and I have to restart it to get it back

Re: Sounds
Can't you change that in the Windows settings, where each app outputs its sound?

Re: Sounds
We could use https://wiki.libsdl.org/SDL_OpenAudioDevice#device to force a specific device by name. Would that help?

Re: Sounds
Well sure that would fix my problem with my headset.. But I know some people that also miss the old version of DDNet where if you change your standard sound device you wouldn't have to restart the game..
Isn't it possible to get it how it was ?

Re: Sounds
Not sure why it would have changed. It works correctly for me on Linux. Anyone else having this issue on Windows?

Apparently it should work in the next SDL2 version: https://discourse.libsdl.org/t/changing ... es/22399/4

Re: Sounds
In some games there is an 'option' or rather a hothey for exaple (F3+S) that ?refreshes? sound and stuff, maybe that wouldn't be so hard to implement into the client.
