i dont know really how to reproduce but i found out that sometimes something similar happens when you zoomout on names:

Once we had something like this with the gfx_quad_as_triangle setting. GPU, graphics driver, operating system, anyone else with the same issue?
It looks like your GPU renders the 2 text layers in the wrong order, for some letters. So something might be wrong with the Z buffer.
