Probably Steam updated TW to 0.6.4 and that destroyed the DDNet stuff you put into the same directory.

How on earth did you fix it? I had the same issue but nothing I did helped. I downloaded the latest ddnet patch and added according to your instructions, aoe but everytime I open teeworlds via Steam, it just opens up the "normal" teeworlds. Also, there seems to be an extra folder now (called tw) which I've no idea how it got there and which upon deleting (with placing the contents first into the teeworlds folder) apparently leads to Steam being unable to open it.

Help!

check the data folder in your tw folder (TW>data) if there is a game.png particles.png cursor.png and so on

This is what my tw folder looks like, so I assume I have what you mentioned? Still doesn't work, though.

So you replaced the tw-folder contents with ddnet? I've tried adding it the normal way, like just into the teeworlds folder but it didn't do the trick.

EDIT: I placed the ddnet contents into the tw folder and now everything works. Thanks a lot for your help!
