Flickerstrike since 10.0
Updated it today and after the update there is now a flicker on my screen.
The fps dropped too. This happens in the menus and ingame.

Play around with gfx_asyncrender_old 0 (or 1), try vsync on/off. Fullscreen on/off What operating system?

Re: Flickerstrike since 10.0
Well it differs alot based on which system is used. I got big fps drops and its feels very laggy overall on one machine using ubuntu 14.04, while it was better using vsync (vsync was not needed before). On the same machine I got problems with the resolution on a 5:4 monitor. There is a black stripe now on the very right site of the monitor.
Using arch linux (gnome) (another machine) did not cause problems on the other hand. Even when I plugged in the screen from above it does not lead to graphical issues.
Third machine (antergos) (xfce) had the same issue like the first (fps drop) but turning vsync on is not a proper solution there because it has alot of problems with vsync.
Generell issues: While using the console ingame I noticed the mouse still has affect on the game and its moving the view (especcially in /spec).

Re: Flickerstrike since 10.0
kamillentee, did you compile on your own? Might it depend on the SDL2 version?
Another idea is that it might depend on the graphics driver used. Also, you could try gfx_resizable 0 on LInux.
console mouse issue should be fixed with 10.0.1.

Re: Flickerstrike since 10.0
I compiled on my own, sources are about 6 hours old (ubuntu). (Compiled on antergos around 20.00 with latest sources) Ill do further tests tomorrow.
(gfx_screen) should be set to 0 if (unable to retrieve screen information: displayIndex must be in the range 0 - 0)

Re: Flickerstrike since 10.0
not sure what causes the fullscreen flickering. What many use is borderless window.
