Why isn't there possibility to delete your own account?!

Deleting a forum account is imo not that easy.
Either your post will still be shown (with a banner like 'deleted acc' or so) or they will be all removed and many discussion lose context and it you can't read them anymore. Whatever the reason is, I'm sure there is nearly always a better solution. Furthermore you can just forget about this account and not login anymore lel
Btw, I'm also curious why you asked this. There seem to be a few escalations here again in the last few weeks.. :/
