Intro :

A long time ago I redrew the grassmain so I could change the colors as I wished.
Today I decided to share it to the community.

How to use it ?

Image First : To open this file, you will need inkscape.

Image Then : Click the link below to download the file.

Image Finally : Open the file and...
Click the Fill and Stroke dialog from the Object menuShow
(or press Shift+Ctrl+F)
Image
Select the layer you want to colorizeShow
Pick one of the 6 layers
Image
ColorizeShow
Only use the fill tool
Image
Image

Special tip :

In the Fill dialog, use HSL instead of RGB
Image
And only change the H value for each layers to the same value
Here, the value is H=137
Image
Repeat for each layersShow
Final version :
Image
Export your image/tilesetShow
Click the Export PNG dialog from the File menu (or press Shift+Ctrl+E)

Select Page
Image

Edit the export path and file name
Image

Then click export
Dilate then borderfixShow
Drag and drop your tileset in dilate.exe
Image
Then drag and drop it again in borderfix.exe
Image
If you don't have them, download the Mapping Graphics Tools.
Place the image in your data/mapres folderShow
Place it in your teeworlds folder /data/mapres
Image
Image Also, you might need an automapper :
Download link and tipShow
Download the automapper here

Place the .rules file in your teeworlds path at data/editor/

Both your .rules and your edited grassmain.png should have the same name
Default is grassmain_coloredit.rules so you must export the image as grassmain_coloredit.png

Very nice work Pipou.

Sadly i don't use Gimp or any design software.

Really detailed and I'm sure it would be very useful for people who use this software.
You've just been Jimmy Jazzed.
