(Solved) hookthru bug?

Post by Purzedo »

I'm just playing around with making a map and there seems to be a problem with the hookthrough.. if there is one layer of hookthrough, and above it a layer of hook, I have to hook at an angle to actually be able to hook the hookable. So I can't hook straight up, or else the hookable acts like UNhookable. Can anyone help me?

Hey,
try to do it like this. However, you need to add a front-layer and use the hooktrough tiles in that front-layer and use the unhookable tiles from the game-layer. You also have to use front hooktroughs on the unhookable. Unfortunately hooktrough is very buggy you'll notice it soon . I hope that I understood your problem :D.

Thanks! Actually I had everything in the correct groups and layers but I just added a layer of hookthrough above (in your case above) the unhookable, instead of only two tiles like what you have here. But this pic helped me see what was different. Now it works. :3
