Nono I wrote more than 5 minutes :). But im not sure how long it lasts exactly because its sooooo long back. But you see this example show why DDrag maps are the worst thing for newbies. There are even people who think that maps like introduction are easier then multimap for beginners.

There is pale for example (same points amount as multimap). I remember the time when I was able to finish multimap first try within 30 minutes blindfolded standing on 1 foot playing with 3 fingers only (without rescue) when I could not finish just ONE part of pale even in my dreams.

At the moment i know 3 maps which are good for beginners:
  • Just2Easy
  • Seasons1
  • Multimap
I have to admit the last one is the worst example, but somehow it was and still is the first ddrace map for a big audience. Its not easy itself but its a good map to help nubs as a pro.

I would put Epix & Pale in front of multimap ;D then we have 5 pretty maps

Still seems easier than Multimap imo, especially w/o rescue xd

we should just talk to mappers and ask them to do 1 star maps

Some are working (still?) on them, some tried in past and ended on 2-3*

Im working on another 1* map.
I try to add many explanations even on very easy parts.
