No more Tournaments

Since people don't like the tournaments and attack them, there will be no more.

Thanks to everyone for helping with the tournaments in the last year.

Edit: Alright, I guess I overreacted. If everyone still wants tournaments we will keep them, but without money.

This wouldn't work with Gaming and significantly increase ping anyway. Also I don't want to pay more than the current 400 € / year.

Lot of ppl join later, have to search teammate first and i dont think they will DDoS servers for 2h (or am i wrong)?
You cant tell me that less skilled ppl have no chances then.

We had some tournaments like that. They were very unpopular. I'd rather have no tournaments than shitty ones.

These DoS attacks are really annoying. We don't have a Persian server anymore because of the constant attacks. German server has been struggling with them from time to time. Yesterday I had to pay more money for Chilean server so we can have more traffic because of recent DoS attacks.

deen i think we as a community would really like to have more tournaments

and you can see they are something great when so many people come together for that 1 goal to finish first

i know it hurts to get insulted after something like this happens and you cant do anything to make it better (buying servers for a non profit server is really not possible so please stop beeing stupid people)

in such hard times we should help deen and not insult him he works so hard on this project everyday and you guys just insult him for stupid 40Euros price money

DoS means Denial of Service, but how? Do they connect, disconnect and reconnect over and over? Or pinging the server countless times? If it's disconnecting and reconnection, you can fix that, right?
