No more Tournaments

I wasn't at home this Sunday but I wish I've been there to participate with some friends. Not to win, I'm not good enough but just to have fun. You saw, there were quite a lots of people for the tournament and I think that most of them really enjoyed it.
There was only one kid who dislike it or whatever just wanted to ruined your work and he done it but you shouldn't care about it ! Don't stop tournament !

Alright, I guess I overreacted. If everyone still wants tournaments we will keep them, but without money.

I think we should give the winners points to replace the money. So the Novice-Tournaments are still attractive for pros like Milk and Ninja_Valik.

Attackers are good for nothing, they make from anything nothing. You make from nothing Tournaments. It is needed.

Wow, I were on vacation for only one week and so unbelievable many things happened here while I was gone :o
Unfortunately I were not able to play the brithday tournament so I don't know what happened exactly but I'm so glad that you eventually decided to not give up the tournaments. There are so many people (including me) that just love the ddnet-tournaments :3 It's a nice event, you can competitively play a awesome new map, watch the pros finishing it or just chat with your friends. So, the tournaments are a really nice thing and keeping them the way they were without any money or other tangible prices involved is the best decision.
Haters or I don't know how I should call them (just people who do those kind of attacks) will always be there. If a project on the internet is successful there will always be some people that begrudge you for that achievement. They can't life with the fact that you created and developed a huge project and so they do such stupid things like attacking the servers or I don't know. But that's no reason to give up. Remember that those are only a few people (unfortunately you can't avoid them) while a huge amount of people really enjoy the tournaments. So, if you would stop now because of one (or even more) attacks the 'haters' would have achieved their goal and many, many ddnet-player would be totally sad. That's not worth it and I'm glad you reconsidered that decision already.
The decision to keep it without money in the future is wise though. Maybe we can add tournament points or a archievement system (like some users already suggested a couple of times) but playing for real things, especially money is wrong after all.
Oh well, that's just my two cents on this topic.
(I'm afraid, I have to catch up on so many topics and maps that need to be tested, wow :o)

I think it were so awesome to create a map which is big as, forexample 20 times Planet Venus. And there are "save-stations". You can save your position in the map, and ofcourse the time stops aswell.. And later you can play it again from your old position and time till finish
