Sad to see more people using Discord, but this is the brave new world after all.

oh well maybe it will work out better, i am tired of these instant communication platforms, not that i will ever test maps. thats three platforms to chat on in DDnet.

change is hard, thats not make it any harder, i know some things will be lost in the switch, but as long as it's generally better i'm all for it!

Don't forget that files from image hosting sites easily get lost due to either the site's time limit, the website dying or the post autor cleaning up their account from old stuff after becoming inactive in a forum, so everywhere in his posts you see [ Missing Image ] while images uploaded to forum stay there as long as the forum is alive.

Images uploaded to Discord CDN (i.e. directly in Discord) are only deleted if the uploader chooses to do so

The channels are hidden by default. They can only be seen by accepted users who explicitly stated that they want to see them. This will lead to even less participation and also less transparency. Nice.
