so Jao(the guy in change Map release's) moved new map testing to Discord: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6544
so expect this forum to be depreciated in that regard. thats one more account to add to my list, i think Discord is over used, but thats just me.

there are some interesting changes to the code, like...
Fix unwanted dummy fire: https://github.com/ddnet/ddnet/pull/1134 (seems to fix a bug i used)
Add commands for switching pages in console: https://github.com/ddnet/ddnet/commit/8 ... efaafdb704 (seems cool)
fix 20 min veto bug: https://github.com/ddnet/ddnet/pull/1151 (finally)
thats the only ones i saw that i think are worth your time.

it's been 24 days sense my lest post here, & it's good to be back! this time we have a new Game-play Mechanic introduced: Teleportaion Weapons, not as cool as PPrace(Valves Portal style) though, but still pretty cool.
& then there is the release of 11.3, there is a unmentioned change you might want to know about.
  • added cl_nameplates_own "Show own name plate (useful for demo recording)", it's cool, but turning on prediction makes your name lag behind you, so fix this implementation so we can use it please.
  • also the added teleportation gun/grenade/laser , the code has been modified sense that one though.
thats all, got every thing up to Aug 3, 2018, not much to talk about, mostly back round improvements. also please make it so we can link to specific releases on the Download page, like :https://ddnet.tw/downloads/DDNet-11.3 , that would be great!

so umm ya, it's only when prediction is on that there is an issue, not "fix cl_show_nameplates_own with antiping off ingame" thats just wrong.
