we are out of Beta & releasing on time; what are your Experiences & opinions of the new DDnet client version 11? are those "improvements" worth it? is there an annoyance that gets your goat?

lets review some of the "big" ones
  • Emoji's! list of ones supported (does anyone have a clean list with pictures?) (Poll) Vote for the future of DDnet Emoji's Closing results: Emoji's are out! removed after 11.0.2
  • Teehistorian: servers can record clients key-press's (cheat or anti-cheat :?:)
  • Complete Demo & Ghost recorder system rework (it might delete your precious demo's!)
  • Rcon "moderation mode" (Gives Moderators time, trolls be aware)

indeed there are so many changes that github wont list them all.

remember: sharing is caring, so lets hear what you have to say

DDNet 9.4 for the win, every 10+ version sucks

The rcon moderator mode is a rcon command ("moderate") that makes the moderator be in a "active moderator mode", while there is atleast one moderator in "active mode" all kick/spec votes will last it's full length in seconds (35 seconds on ddnet servers) no matter if the vote is passes or not. This prevent fast votes to pass, because it could happen that the moderator doesn't have enough reaction for it.

Also the moderator with that mode enabled will force the vote if he presses F3 or F4.

If you use the command again, it removes your active moderator status.
If you go afk, you can notice that by your eyes changing, then you will get the active moderator status removed.

Hope this is clear enough.

Funnywise, these are not even teeworlds related emojis. If there would be like a dozen teeish emojis, I could understand why people want to add this. But currently these are only random symbols they found somewhere in the internet.

Add whatever, but not damn Emojis... Even if you disabled showing shit in someone's nick, you will still end up watching his nick being twice-the-long but now containing :poop: instead of picture... Seriously, Teeworlds is one of the very last place emojis should have ever been added, IMO.
