Why are there 7 pages of fuss and essays about a simple recommended map list?

If you don't like the current one, either: a. suggest a new one or a fix, or b. accept it and move on with your life

I get that it's a nice feature for new players (and I guess everyone for that matter), but why must it be analyzed in such great detail? Anybody who has an ounce of effort or enjoys playing this game will keep voting maps until they find something they like. Imo there aren't any truly awful maps on ddnet, so you can't really go wrong with a random vote. Try everything out.

If it was me choosing the list, I would probably just observe what maps people like to play the most and which maps are being run the most frequently on servers. (e.g. there's a Chilean server playing Multimap pretty much every night)

People are not allowed to say their opinion without proposing a change or a fix? It's your job as an Admin to hear user feedback and work on changes based of it, not to tell them to not raise their voice.. (not talking about useless flame of course)

He didn't say that they are not allowed. It is just not helping in any form, if it works like it is here. And every discussion with leute is escalating.

Well...aaa confirmed me that dinner is mostly admin for personal purposes. Also according to aaa the community isn't allowed to care about who is admin.
Basically any kind of suggestions are just not wanted at DDNet, since admins are too busy to care about themselves.

aaa even confirmed in this thread that he isn't reading the forums, except someone sends him a link to a certain thread (and the post is about him):

There is a "fix" at least for Novice (the old list by iMTG) and additionally a proposal how to get a new better list. That's already more than you normaly could expect from a community member. Now it's the admin's task to deal with it... But well...they aren't even able to tell who made the current list and what criteria have been used...

Maybe you don't have enough conversations in your life so you need to express yourself here, but nobody wants to read tons of text about your opinion. It would be way better if you would say what you want without being the "i answer to everything guy".
