Hola chicos, hice este post con el afán de que cualquiera que sepa sobre hosting pueda comentar o ayudar. También con el fin de que todos los interesados puedan hacer un seguimiento y así tener una comunidad chilena más conectada con las realidades detrás del juego.


Desde hace más de 4 meses que hemos estado sufriendo de lagasos, ranks que nunca fueron guardados, puntos que nunca fueron agregados, caídas de servidores, incoherencias con los puntos de la página y in-game, etc. Por ende, y con el apoyo de Deen, QshaR y Fozz he empezado una investigación para encontrar una empresa de hosting que sea más fiable.

A continuación expondré las estadísticas de nuestro hosting actual con la idea de transparentar todo lo más posible y así puedan cooperar más facilmente los que estén interesados.

- 2 CPU CORES
- 1 GB RAM
- 10 GB DISCK SPACE

Las empresas con las cuales me he contactado hasta ahora son gccgaming y planetahosting que fueron descartados por sus precios elevados y Bluehosting que podría ser una buena opción.

Bluehosting posee un servicio de prueba de aproximadamente un mes, esto nos podría ser super útil teniendo en cuenta que la mayoría de hosting piden dinero a cambio de testear sus Host. Deen ya fue informado al respecto y él verá si es conveniente o no.


Quiero dejar un llamado a todos los que sepan sobre el tema, o gente que pueda ayudar investigando por su cuenta, a que comenten acá, ya que yo no poseo mucha experiencia sobre hosting, vps y demás.

Cualquier ayuda no me sirve solo a mi, sino que a toda la comunidad Chilena

PD: Cabe señalar que si encontramos buen hosting es posible que KoG y Block también sean movidos para allá.

Hi guys, i've made this Topic with the desire that anyone that know something about hosting can help. As well, with the purpose that all the interested can follow the progress and thus have a more connected Chilean Community with the realities behind the game.


For more than 4 months we have been suffering with lag, finishes that were never saved, points that were never added, server crashes, inconsistencies between points of the page and in-game, etc. Therefore, with the support of Deen, QshaR y Fozz I have started a research to find a hosting company that is more reliable.


Next I will show up the statistics of our current Hosting with the idea of making everything as transparent as possible, so those who are interested can cooperate more easily

The companies that I've called and contact are gccgaming and planetahosting, that were discarded because of their high prices and Bluehosting that could be a good option.


Bluehosting has a test service of approximately one month, this could be super useful considering that most of Hosting companies ask for money before knowing their services. Deen has been informed about it and he will check it out.



I want to leave a call to all of those who know about the plot or people that can help researching by his own. Just leave a comment here.

Any help does not only serve me, it helps all the Chilean community

Pd: It should be noted that if we found a good hosting maybe the servers of KoG will be moved there aswell.

Well Deen, DDNet Chile #2 aren't working as we wanted, they are almost the same that the #1. They are laggy as well sometimes. Some people said to me that for them, the #2 are more laggy than the #1. There's almost no difference.

Hi guys, sorry for the delay, I've been in tests and working a lot.
The bluehosting service isn't good. The servers are a lot more laggy than zglobal, my ping is among 30-70 with bluehosting, and 6-12 in zglobal.

And like the other server there are always some random lags that increase the ping to 250 or more, briefly freezing the servers.

In other terms as all can see, there aren't so many chiilean players that use this forum, so I made a WhatsApp group after asking for help in a lot of sub-groups of the comminity to gather players that knows about Chilean VPS, Hosting, etc or some that wants to help searching by his own. (Just serious people)

We were playing back in the days and stoned. 2 on DDNet Chile #2 and we often had connection problems which killed us many times

Thanks for the feedback, so I killed Chile 2 again. ifx.cl website doesn't even load for me, hostname.cl is quite expensive, chilecloud website is broken when you click on VPS.
